Every color font needs a solid base, and Niklaas is built upon a slab serif designed with chocolate-casting in mind. Corners are rounded to allow easy release from the mould, thin parts are strengthened to prevent breaking and all elements are cast as one element. Now you can be sure no chocolate is lost when you open the wrapper! This strong base allows Niklaas to have its defining bevel, with bold shadows and defining highlights.
